Reel #35 · comment GOOGLE

Five Google AI tools that are completely free

All five work outside the US. None of them need a card. Each one's real limit is written down below, because a free tier you hit on day one is not free.

TOOL 01 / 05

Google AI Studio

The playground for Google's best models, plus a free API key with no card. You can paste in something the length of a whole book and ask questions about it.

The real limitA 1,000,000-token context window, which is roughly 750,000 words. The free tier runs the Flash-class models; the Pro models moved to paid-only in April 2026. Rate limits are per-minute and per-day rather than a hard monthly cap.

Gemini Notebook

Drop in your own notes, PDFs and lecture slides. It turns them into summaries, mind maps and a genuine two-host podcast about your material, grounded in your sources with citations rather than the open internet.

Heads up on the name. This is what NotebookLM is called now. Google renamed it to Gemini Notebook on 16 July 2026, and old links still redirect. Same product, same free tier, new logo.

A real Audio Overview playing inside NotebookLM — A real Audio Overview mid-playback. That is your uploaded material being discussed by two AI hosts, and it is the feature almost nobody uses.

The real limit100 notebooks, 50 sources per notebook, 50 chats a day and 3 Audio Overviews a day on the free plan. Each source can be up to 500,000 words. The limits reset on a rolling 24-hour window, not at midnight.

Jules

You tell it what is broken in your app and then close the laptop. It goes off, writes the fix itself, and comes back with the finished work for you to look over.

The real limit15 tasks a day and 3 running at once on the free plan, per person. The paid tier at $19.99/mo lifts that to 100 a day, but 15 is a real day's work if you are pointing it at actual bugs.

Stitch

Describe your app in one sentence and it designs the actual screens, then hands you the code and a Figma file. This is the one that surprises people.

The real limit350 generations a month in standard mode, plus 50 a month in the experimental mode that uses the bigger model. Free while it stays in Google Labs beta, and available in 200+ countries.

Pomelli

Paste in your website and it writes you a month of on-brand content, in your own brand's voice, pulling the colours and tone from the site itself.

The real limitFree during the public beta, with no published cap on generations. It reached 170+ countries in March 2026, India included. Availability inside the EU is still limited for regulatory reasons.

One honest warning

Free tiers move, and they usually move down. Google's own Antigravity launched with roughly 250 agent requests a day and was cut to about 20 a day within a month, a 92% drop, then tightened again in 2026. Nothing on this page is at risk today, but check the limit on the day you actually need it rather than trusting a list.
